When Axeptio launched its API, we collaborated to develop a Shopify module. Adoption was rapid: over 200 paying customers in just a few months. However, faced with differences of vision, Axeptio offered to buy the application. Not finding agreement, we had to remove the application from the platform.
But faced with this challenge, we did not give up. Building on the initial success and aware of the needs of merchants, we launched ekookie. A better integrated application, enriched with features and more economical. With Axeptio's decision to restrict access to their API, ekookie has become the alternative of choice for many merchants.
With ekookie, the transition is simple and hassle-free. Merchants can select the desired event without having to reconfigure Google Tag Manager. We are currently improving our statistics section and we are on track to achieve the “Built for Shopify” badge.
